Marcia Lochmann
Marcia Lochmann is the Associate Vice President of Global Learning and Development.Marcia is an experienced leader with over fifteen yearsin higher education working to seize opportunities and reduce barriers in implementing new approaches by helping institutions develop frameworks that result in employers and students becoming prepared for the new green economy.
After working in higher education for most of her career, Marcia entered the private sector to work for the industries that she was preparing students for, companies that grew out of the market demand for a more innovative and sustainable approach to energy supply and consumption in the United States. She has seen first hand the need for a workforce that acaemically prepared, technically skilled and has the professional acumen to be successful.
Marcia holds a bachelors degree in Education from Indiana University and a graduate degree in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University. She stays active in the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and St. Louis Higher Education Sustainability Consortium and recently co-founded the St. Louis Chapter of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP).
