The engineering applied graduates with high professional English application ability and professional quality will get the basic knowledge and application ability of modern manufacturing technology, industrial Internet technology, automatic control technology. At the meanwhile they can be capable for the jobs of product design, manufacturing, application and production management etc.

This major is one of pilot programs called “Double hundred planning ofAmericaandChina” jointly developed byNationalCenterfor Schooling Development Programme and GCC-GATE. This major adopts Global Applied Technical Educational model , including some professional core curriculums and vocational ability courses jointly taught by experts fromChinaandAmerica.“Double hundred planning of America and China” makes it possible for the students in this major to take some advanced courses taught by American experts and get to know American company’s manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies. In addition, the students would have opportunities of international communication, technical certifications of GCC-GATE on intelligent manufacturing, practice and training in multinational enterprise supported by JOBFIT, comprehensive career quiz and employment support.

In the advanced equipment manufacturing industry, graduates could be engaged in design and manufacturing of products, operation and maintenance of equipment, production management etc.
